Abortion is the Baptism of The Damned

Those who shed innocent blood reject Christ. This is why abortion divides political parties. Those who are willing to kill babies have already rejected Christ. They stand in the crowd whose leaders cried, “we have no king but Caesar,” while innocent blood is being shed. They may not actively participate, but they acquiesce. Those who reject Christ put their trust in earthly rulers. Those who accept Christ trust in God.

Irresponsible sex is a related ritual that tears down respect for mankind, God’s crowning creation. Sex divorced from the intent to raise children is sterile. Those like Abraham and Sarah, who desired children, are under no condemnation. But those who seek sexual pleasure divorced from its proper end are not actually married. For to marry literally means to have sex with the intent of raising children (to give offspring). This is why Christians for so long opposed sodomite marriage: the anus is not a reproductive organ. Anal sex cannot result in children. It is sterile, and is not marriage by definition.

Irresponsible sex, sought for pleasure and not for children, results in unwanted children. The pregnant mother has a choice: become a Christian and raise that child, trusting God; or murder the innocent blood. One trial will result in faith and joy, the other in barrenness and death.

Just as baptism is a symbolic celebration of birth and rebirth, a ritual that opens the door into the kingdom of God; so too, abortion is a ritual, not symbolic but actual, a rejection of life and a denial of birth that closes the gates of salvation. Those who reject God can no longer even see His kingdom among us.

Have children. Raise your children. Commit to stay with your wife. The holy family of Christ, with Mary as his mother and Joseph as his earthly father, is our blueprint.

The Psalm below about how fallen Israel adopted the ritual of child sacrifice from their neighbors applies today to those who would seek to bless their lives by aborting their own children.

35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

Psalm 106
